On Thursday Congress passed financial regulation reform, which is supposed to bring more transparency and control. It may later uncover frauds in derivative market and set $700 trillion bomb. If it happens world economy may collapse.
Warren Buffett called derivatives the financial bomb of mass destruction.

Rust and corrosion was found on thousands of gold coins issued by Russian Central Bank.As we all learned from chemistry lessons in high school pure gold doesn't react with air and water.It doesn't corrode or rust. Density and weight of real and fake coins are the same.

The average fiat(debt based) currency life is 40 years. If dollar's life will be 40 years, then we have 1 year, 1 months and 3 days.

Silver and gold are the only assets that are not someone else's liability, derivative or form of debt.
If you own it - you own it 100%. Nobody knows about it. It can't default. It can't go bankrupt.

Here's scenario.

If you bury certain asset in your back yard, and 50 years later your children or grandchildren dig it up. What would they wanna see?

Only gold and silver. Bonds are most likely destroyed by hyperinflation. Stocks of the publicly traded company are worthless because company doesn't exist anymore. Futures are worthless because COMEX defaulted xD

Importance of storing food to survive economic collapse

It is important to store food(and generally prepare for economic collapse) because food shortages may occur. Why? Because when hyperinflation starts destroying purchasing power of the dollar, government may implement price control, so stores will only sell at given price.

Natural law of economics says that lower price discourages production and makes supply decline.
This is what's going to happen. Businesses will be forced to sell goods cheaper and as a result they will go out of business.

If businesses don't produce goods - they disappear.

If China lets it currency rise

If Chinese let yuan rise it will be hard for americans to compete against them for goods and services. Chinese citizens purchasing power will rise dramatically.

My solution for that? Buying gold and silver, they will go up in value, especially because of demand from all over the world. In last precious metals bull market there were no buyers from China and India, this time they are here, 2.5 billion people, and they want gold and silver. So I would get my precious metals now, before everyone goes crazy trying to get some.
